    • Apostasy is a crime punishable by death in Islamic countries November 9, 2009
Wake up, everyone: Iran is about to execute three men for the crime of atheism…well, specifically, apostasy, rejecting the Islamic faith. The news is not good. Habibollah Latifi, Ehsan (Esma'il) Fattahian and Sherko Moarefi have all been sentenced to death for "enmity against God" in unconnected cases over the last two years. They are b […]
    • Mr Deity brings me solace and hope November 9, 2009
To get this, you may want to look at the last episode of Mr Deity, in which Jesse and the Deity struggled with the implications of the trinity — it was hopelessly confusing. • The Deep Rifts simply call us unto the breach once more November 9, 2009
I hereby declare this the official theme of the whimpering, pathetic, anti-atheist backlash of 2009: there are Deep Rifts in atheism. It's all over the place, and it's a little weird. YOU would think, wouldn't you, that one of the principal attractions of atheism would be the complete absence of schisms. Where the devout always seem to be work […]

    • The world is ending, again November 8, 2009
I'm sorry to have to mention this again, but there's a chance the world will end on Wednesday. The same guy with the website that was designed to make you vomit from your eye sockets, who has been predicting the imminent end of the world over and over again, is predicting the apocalypse again. Godtube Video of the Week – So Goes the Rest of the Nation

more about “untitled“, posted with vodpod

Video equating the recent weather disasters with the ban being lifted on Gay Marriage in California.   Apparently to some people, God hates homosexuals so much he would  inflict disasters on completely innocent people.  What a nasty God.   But I suppose their “reasoning” is that the rest of the country tolerated it so God is bringing “judgement” on them for not stopping it.

Richard Dawkins: The Big Question

The methods of evolution by Darwinian natural selection can in fact tell us why we are here and not merely how. Dawkins explores the details.

Diabetic Girl Dies While Parents Pray…

On Sunday in the Town of Weston, near Wausau, 11-year-old Madeline Kara Neumann died of diabetic ketoacidosis, a treatable though serious condition of type 1 diabetes in which acid builds up in the blood.Neumann’s parents said they didn’t know she had diabetes. They didn’t take her to a doctor. They prayed for healing.

http://www.jsonline.com/story/index.aspx?id=732626

I hope the parents get charged with Manslaughter. The girl had not been to the doctor since she was three years old. This is utterly disgusting and if a parent had done that and had been an atheist, they would be arrested and charged with neglect, child abuse and manslaughter.
